Official Policy
Service Policy
This policy applies to all mobile A/C evacuation and recharge services provided by AC Recharge Pro throughout New Jersey. Our commitment is to professional service, EPA compliance, and transparent communication.
Full Evacuation & Recharge Only
We maintain the highest service standards by performing complete system service.
We do not offer A/C “top-offs.” Partial charging can mask underlying issues and lead to premature system failure.
We perform evacuation (recovery), vacuum, and recharge by weight only. This ensures accurate refrigerant charge per manufacturer specifications.
Refrigerant type is serviced per the selected service page (R-134a or R-1234yf).
Systems With No Pressure
Safety and system integrity come first when no refrigerant pressure is detected.
If the system has no pressure, service begins with A/C Diagnostic & Leak Detection. This is a mandatory first step to identify the cause of refrigerant loss.
Recharge is not performed until system integrity is confirmed. Charging a leaking system wastes refrigerant and your money.
Vacuum Is Not a Leak Test
Understanding the difference between evacuation and leak confirmation.
- What Vacuum Does
Vacuum removes air and moisture from the system, which is essential for proper operation. However, it does not definitively prove the system is leak-free.
- When Nitrogen Is Required
If the system does not hold vacuum, the next required step is nitrogen pressure verification before any recharge can be performed.
Nitrogen Pressure Verification (When Required)
Industry-standard procedure for confirming system integrity before recharge.
Charge System
System is charged with dry nitrogen to 130–150 psi
Monitor Pressure
Pressure is monitored for up to 30 minutes
EPA Compliance
Performed per EPA Section 609 practices
Professional Standard: Nitrogen testing provides definitive proof of system integrity before refrigerant is introduced.
Pricing and Refrigerant Amount
Transparent billing based on manufacturer specifications and actual materials used.
Recharge is performed by weight according to manufacturer specifications for your specific vehicle.
Base service price includes a defined amount of refrigerant (see the service page for details).
Additional refrigerant is billed per ounce beyond the included amount.

Post-Repair A/C System Service
Comprehensive service protocol following component replacement or system repairs.
When Applicable: Recommended or required when the system was opened or fully discharged due to repairs (compressor replacement, line repair, condenser replacement, etc.).
Service Includes:
- Triple evacuation workflow for thorough moisture removal
- Nitrogen verification when required
- Recharge by weight per manufacturer specifications
- Oil adjustment if required based on component replacement
Valve Core Replacement
Technical considerations for valve core service.
Under-pressure valve core replacement (without evacuating refrigerant) is performed only if technically possible and safe to do so.
If the system is already empty (during diagnostics, nitrogen testing, or recovery), replacement can be performed as part of service where applicable.
Billing and Outcomes
Understanding charges and service limitations.
- Important Billing Information
Charges are for time, procedures performed, and consumables (where applicable), not solely for outcomes.
If major faults are found (e.g., large leaks, damaged lines, failed compressor), diagnostic work remains billable even if recharge cannot be completed.
Recharge is not performed unless integrity requirements are met. We will not charge a system that cannot hold refrigerant.
Limitations
Service boundaries and pre-existing condition disclaimers.
We are not responsible for pre-existing component failures or hidden defects. Our service addresses refrigerant charge and system integrity verification.
Prior repairs, contamination, or damaged components can affect results. Issues stemming from previous work or system contamination are beyond our control.
